I. Appearance Quality
Surface Smoothness: The surface should be smooth, dense, and uniform, free from loose material, white spots, wheel tracks, and scratches.
Transverse joints should be smooth, with a width ≤ 80mm; longitudinal joint unevenness ≤ 6mm/3m.
Edge lines should be smooth, with horizontal fluctuations within any 30m length ≤ ±50mm.
Color and Uniformity: The color should be uniform and consistent, with no obvious color difference.
II. Road Performance
Skid Resistance: Coefficient of friction (pendulum value Fb, BPN) ≥ 45 (highways, Class I highways).
Texture Depth (TC) ≥ 0.60mm (highways, Class I highways).
Water Permeability: Permeability coefficient ≤ 10mL/min.
Thickness: The allowable thickness deviation is -10% of the design value.
Micro-surfacing
III. Material Properties
Emulsified Asphalt: Evaporation residue content ≥ 60%, softening point ≥ 57℃.
Storage Stability (1d) ≤ 1%, 5d ≤ 5%. Aggregate: Sand equivalent ≥ 65% (passing rate through a 4.75mm sieve).
Crushing value, polishing value, and other indicators meet the specifications.
IV. Construction Process Control: Consistency: The allowable deviation of the asphalt-aggregate ratio in the construction mix is ±0.2%.
Aggregate Gradation: Meets the design gradation requirements, with no segregation.
Wet Wheel Abrasion: Wet wheel abrasion value ≤ 800g/m² after 1 hour of immersion in water.
V. Acceptance Inspection Frequency and Methods:
Inspection Frequency:
Appearance Quality: Continuous inspection along the entire line.
Skid Resistance: 5 points/km.
Permeability Coefficient: 3 points/km.
Thickness: 3 points/km (drilling or other effective methods).
Inspection Methods:
Appearance Quality: Visual inspection.
Skid Resistance: Pendulum friction coefficient tester (T0964), sand spreading method (T0961).
Permeability Coefficient: Permeability tester (T0971).
Thickness: Drilling method or other effective methods. VI. Acceptance Time 1-2 months after opening to traffic: At this time, the aggregate and asphalt in the micro-surfacing layer will be redistributed and stabilized under the kneading action of the tires, and the test data can truly reflect the initial service performance.
