I. Visual Appearance Acceptance Specifications
The surface must exhibit a continuous and uniform coverage, with no air bubbles exceeding 3mm in diameter or any uncovered areas.
Joints should have smooth transitions, forming a complete interface with the existing pavement, with color difference controlled within ΔE≤5.
The fine-grained texture unique to micro-surfacing should be clearly visible, and aggregate distribution uniformity must reach over 90%.
Slurry Seal
II. Geometric Shape Control Indicators
When using a 3m straightedge for inspection, the maximum gap value must not exceed 4mm/3m.
The longitudinal evenness index (IRI) should be controlled within 2.5m/km.
The cross slope deviation should not exceed ±0.3% of the design value, ensuring smooth drainage.
III. Dynamic Friction Performance Requirements Pendulum friction meter measured BPN ≥ 55 (dry state)
Transverse force coefficient SFC ≥ 45 (wet state)
Texture depth TD maintained within the range of 0.6-1.0mm
IV. Waterproofing and Sealing Performance Standards
Water permeability coefficient test: ≤ 50ml penetration within 30 minutes
No leakage for 2 hours under 0.3MPa water pressure
Interlayer bond strength ≥ 0.8MPa
V. Material and Process Control Points
Modified emulsified asphalt residue content ≥ 62%
Aggregate gradation curve strictly controlled within the design envelope
Paver working speed maintained at a uniform speed of 3-5m/min
By establishing a multi-dimensional quality evaluation system and combining it with modern testing methods, the construction quality of slurry seal and micro-surfacing can be comprehensively controlled. Key factors such as material compatibility, construction process parameters, and environmental adaptability are monitored to ensure that the maintenance project reaches its design service life.
