Cleaning the nozzles of an asphalt distributor truck typically follows these steps:
Preparation: First, ensure the asphalt distributor truck is stopped and turn off the relevant oil valves and power.

Activate Cleaning Mode: Turn the “Control Selection” switch on the rear control panel to “Background” and switch the “Asphalt Control Valve” to “On”. Next, turn on the “Asphalt Pump” switch and open the pipeline air valves (usually two).
Start Cleaning: Switch the “Asphalt Control Valve” to the “Nozzle Cleaning” position to start the automatic nozzle cleaning program. This will typically circulate the cleaning fluid (such as diesel) through the nozzles to remove residual asphalt. It is recommended to circulate twice to ensure thorough cleaning.
Check Cleaning Results: Observe the liquid flowing from the nozzles. When you see that the flowing liquid is entirely diesel and not asphalt, the cleaning is complete.
Shut Down the System: First, close the pipeline air valves, then turn off the “Nozzle Cleaning” switch. Next, turn off the asphalt pump, and finally close the asphalt control valves.
Clean Residue: After cleaning, inspect and clean any asphalt or other substances that may remain on the asphalt distributor truck to keep the equipment clean. Please note that cleaning the nozzles of the asphalt distributor truck is a crucial step in ensuring the normal operation of the equipment and the effectiveness of the spraying. Regular cleaning can prevent nozzle clogging, extend the service life of the equipment, and improve spraying efficiency. At the same time, safety operating procedures must be strictly followed during the cleaning process to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
