There are many types of asphalt crack fillers, each designed for different applications. As the name suggests, an asphalt crack filler machine is a commonly used machine designed for asphalt roads. Asphalt roads age, they become rough and brittle, with minor cracks appearing on the surface. At this point, the road surface becomes soft and brittle, with increased water permeability and reduced resistance to damage. Our asphalt crack filler machine will be used for repair.

First, according to the design requirements, use a road grooving machine to groove the cracks. Adjust the grooving width and depth, advancing along the center of the crack to ensure both sides are cut, removing the aged material at the crack edges and exposing the new surface on both sides. This ensures better adhesion between the asphalt crack filler and the road surface.
While grooving with the grooving machine, immediately follow up with a road blower to clean the crack, removing dust, debris, and loose organisms from the surrounding area to ensure cleanliness.
Check the bottom and walls of the crack for moisture. If significant moisture is found, the crack must be dried using a hot air gun. The heated crack will slightly blacken and heat up.
The workflow for sealing small-scale asphalt crack sealant applications is as follows:
The asphalt crack sealant must be heated to between 185℃ and 195℃ until completely melted before sealing.
First, use an asphalt crack sealant machine to heat, stir, and melt the asphalt crack sealant. Then, pump it through an asphalt pump pipeline and pour it into the cleaned groove. The pouring should be continuous, filling the groove completely from bottom to top, avoiding air bubbles at the bottom of the filler. After crack sealing, traffic should generally be opened after the asphalt crack sealant has fully solidified, usually around 20 minutes. This time may vary depending on the temperature at the construction site. If traffic needs to be opened urgently, fine-grained materials such as river sand, lime, or steel grit can be sprinkled on the crack sealant after pouring, allowing traffic to open immediately without waiting. When using an asphalt crack sealing machine, always prioritize safety. Wear a mask to prevent inhaling harmful fumes!
