1. Core treatment equipment
Bag dust collector
Function: High-efficiency filtration of dust and particulate matter, especially suitable for smoke with a particle size of 0.1-10μm.
Features: Oil-proof, waterproof and high-temperature resistant filter bags (such as coated filter materials) must be selected, and the filtration efficiency can reach more than 99%.
Use scenario: Pretreatment or separate treatment of dust at the discharge port.
Electrostatic tar collector (electrostatic oil removal equipment)
Function: Separate tar fine mist particles (particle size 0.01-1μm) in asphalt smoke through a high-voltage electric field.
Features: High purification efficiency (≥95%), can handle high-temperature and high-humidity flue gas, but requires cooling equipment (such as spray tower).
Applicable scenario: Removal of tar components in asphalt flue gas.
Spray tower (wet scrubber)
Function: Cooling, dust removal and removal of some water-soluble pollutants (such as sulfides).
Features: simple structure, low operating cost, but wastewater needs to be treated regularly.
Applicable scenarios: pretreatment stage, reducing the load of subsequent equipment.
Activated carbon adsorption device
Function: adsorb organic waste gas (such as benzopyrene, VOCs) and odor.
Features: high purification rate, but activated carbon needs to be replaced regularly, which is a consumable equipment.
Applicable scenarios: deep treatment of medium and low concentration organic waste gas.
Combustion equipment (RTO/RCO/CO)
Function: high temperature oxidation and decomposition of organic matter to generate CO? and H?O.
Features: treatment efficiency> 99%, suitable for high concentration waste gas, but investment and operation costs are high.
Applicable scenarios: terminal treatment of high concentration asphalt flue gas.
What should we do if the asphalt mixing station suddenly trips during work
2. Combined process scheme
Medium and low concentration flue gas (recommended)
Spray tower → electric tar collector → activated carbon adsorption
(cooling and dust removal → tar removal → adsorption of organic matter)
High concentration or complex flue gas
Spray tower → electric tar collector → catalytic combustion (RCO)
(pretreatment → oil removal → high temperature decomposition of organic matter)
Delicate processing requirements
Spray tower → electric tar collector → UV photocatalysis → activated carbon adsorption
(multi-stage purification, suitable for strict emission standards)
3. Precautions
Flue gas characteristics: Asphalt smoke is high temperature (>100℃) and highly viscous, and needs to be cooled before processing.
Compliance: It must comply with the "Comprehensive Emission Standards for Air Pollution" (GB 16297) and local environmental impact assessment requirements.
Maintenance cost: The electrode of the electric tar collector needs to be cleaned regularly, the activated carbon needs to be replaced regularly, and the combustion equipment needs to monitor energy consumption.
IV. Typical Cases
SInoroader asphalt mixing plant adopts the "spray cooling + electric tar collector + activated carbon adsorption" combined process designed by Hebei Jingye Environmental Protection Company. After treatment, the particulate matter is less than 10mg/m3, and the content of carcinogens such as benzopyrene is significantly reduced, meeting environmental protection requirements.
It is recommended to select a suitable equipment combination according to the exhaust gas concentration, composition and site conditions, and consult a professional environmental protection company to customize the plan.
