What are the functions of each component in bagged bitumen melting equipment?
Bagged bitumen melting equipment has gradually gained widespread use, and its functionality has been widely recognized by many customers. Its performance is inseparable from the functions of each component. These components are closely related, and different components have different functions. So, what are the main functions of each component? Below, our management personnel will give you a brief introduction to the relevant key points.

1. Automatic Thickener Discharge System: Uses negative pressure to draw the thickener into the batching tank.
2. Modified Material Pneumatic Conveying System: The bagged bitumen melting equipment uses pneumatic conveying to transfer the modified material, which is manually poured into the feeding tank, to the bitumen batching tank.
3. Asphalt Batching Tank: Prepares asphalt concrete according to the formula, using its combined mixing device to ensure uniform mixing.
4. Asphalt transportation and metering system software for bagged bitumen melting equipment: The system uses an asphalt pump and asphalt steam flow meter to add the set amount of asphalt to the batching tank via a frequency converter and computer interlock.
5. Electric heater for modified bitumen equipment: A jacketed heat exchanger uses high-temperature heat transfer oil to further heat the asphalt substrate to meet processing requirements.
Bagged bitumen melting equipment is one of the most common facilities in road construction. It uses L-band heat transfer fluid as the heat transfer medium, natural gas, coal, or oil furnace as the heat source, and is forced to circulate by a hot oil pump to heat the asphalt to the operating temperature. Rapid heating is a major characteristic of bagged asphalt melting equipment; it can produce high-temperature asphalt in large quantities while conserving heat, and can continuously produce a small amount of hot asphalt. Producing 160℃ hot asphalt can sometimes take no more than 4 hours.
The bagged bitumen melting equipment heats the asphalt inside the storage tank, preventing it from aging due to prolonged high-temperature heating and exposure to air. The amount of sulfate formed during the production process is relatively limited, reducing environmental pollution.
