Buying a piece of equipment with excellent performance is only the first step. What is more important is the maintenance during daily operation. Doing a good job of maintenance and standard operation can not only reduce equipment defects, but also reduce unnecessary losses, greatly extend the service life of the equipment and reduce the cost of use.

Large-scale mechanical equipment such as asphalt mixing equipment is afraid that the equipment will have defects and affect production and supply. Some losses are inevitable during the production process, but some defects are often caused by improper maintenance, which can be prevented in the early stage. So the question is, how should we correctly and effectively maintain the equipment and do a good job of daily equipment maintenance?
According to the survey, 60% of the defects of machinery and equipment are caused by poor lubrication, and 30% are caused by inadequate tightening. According to these two situations, the daily maintenance of mechanical equipment focuses on: anti-corrosion, lubrication, adjustment, and tightening.
Each shift of the batching station checks whether the bolts of the oscillating motor are loose; check whether the bolts of the various components of the batching station are loose; check whether the rollers are stuck/not rotating; check whether the belt is deviated. After 100 hours of operation, check the oil level and leakage.
If necessary, replace damaged seals and add grease. Use ISO viscosity VG220 mineral oil to clean the air holes; apply grease to the tensioning screw of the belt conveyor. After 300 working hours, apply calcium-based grease to the bearing seats of the main and driven rollers of the feeding belt (if oil comes out); apply calcium-based grease to the bearing seats of the main and driven rollers of the flat belt and inclined belt.
