Asphalt Mixing Plants Weighing Control System Operation Key Points
1. Turn on the power
Before connecting the power to the asphalt mixing station, you should first close the DC24V air switch (the air switch does not need to be cut off after shutting down), and then turn the "POWER CONTROL" (start switch) to the "ON" state. At this time, observe and check whether the "POWER" (red indicator light) on the panel is lit. If it is lit, it indicates that the power of the control system has been connected. Wait for about 1 minute and check whether the touch screen displays normally. If it displays normally, it means that the power supply is normal. Otherwise, it should be inspected.

2. Routine inspection
Before starting normal production, routine inspection work is necessary. The contents of routine inspection of the weighing system are as follows:
In the default "stirring screen" when the touch screen is turned on, the operator must first check the system status, whether the system is in the "single step" state or the "continuous" state. An operating status must be given before batching. When starting up, the system is silently in the "non" state and cannot automatically or semi-automatically batch batching.
Check whether the "target weight" and "corrected weight" settings of all measurement contents are correct and whether the "real-time value" beats normally, and check whether the status indicators of each weighing bin door and the mixing tank discharge door are closed.
Check whether the "tare weight alarm limit" in each sub-screen is within the normal range, and check whether the gross weight, net weight, and tare weight in each sub-screen are normal. At the same time, check whether there is an intermediate state display in each sub-screen, and check whether the various parameters in the "Parameter Settings" screen are normal. If problems are discovered, they must be resolved promptly.
Before feeding, open the aggregate bin door, metering bin door, mixing tank discharge door, and overflow waste door several times to check whether their operations are normal.
Check whether the action of each travel switch is normal, especially the travel switches of the metering bin door and the mixing cylinder discharge door. Only when the above inspections are normal can the machine be started, otherwise the cause must be identified.
3. Ingredients
When batching, you must wait until the corresponding aggregate bin of the required materials has a low material level signal before you can start batching. When preparing the ingredients for the first three pots, single-step batching control should be used. There are two reasons for doing this: first, it is convenient to check whether the supply of each material is normal, and second, it allows the operator to have sufficient time to correct the weighing.
When there is no material in each measuring bin and mixing cylinder, the system is switched to continuous batching control. The operator only needs to monitor the changes in the result weight, corrected weight, real-time value, etc. in the mixing screen.
If abnormal conditions are found during batching, the operator should immediately press the "EMER STOP" button to forcefully close all feed bin doors. Make sure that the door control buttons on the operating platform are fully functional. As long as the operator clicks on them, the corresponding door should open. However, in the interlocked state, if the metering bin door is not closed properly, the feed bin door cannot be opened; if the mixing tank discharge door is not closed, each metering bin door cannot be opened.
If an abnormality occurs in the system software during the batching process, the operator has two ways to restart: first, turn off the system power and restart the system; second, click the "Emergency Reset" button to return the system to normal.
4. Discharge
In the single-step operation state, if the operator does not click the "timing" button, the mixing tank discharge door will not open automatically. Click the "Timing" button, and after the wet mixing reaches zero, the mixing tank discharge door can automatically open. In the continuous running state, when all the materials in the metering bin are released and the signal is triggered, the wet mixing time starts. After the wet mixing time returns to zero, if the truck is in place, the mixing tank discharge door will automatically open. If the truck is not in place, the mixing tank discharge door will never open automatically.
After the operator clicks the button to open the mixing tank discharge door on the operating platform, the mixing tank discharge door should be opened at any time to prevent the power circuit from tripping due to excessive material accumulation in the mixing tank.
