The thickness of the slurry seal varies depending on the application scenario and requirements. Generally speaking, the thickness of the slurry seal is between 3 and 50 mm, depending on the following factors:

1. Pavement condition: The thickness of the slurry seal will be adjusted according to the damage condition index and driving quality index of the pavement. When the pavement is severely damaged, a thicker seal is required to provide adequate protection and repair effects.
2. Traffic type and traffic volume: For sections with heavy traffic or heavy vehicles, the slurry seal needs to be more wear-resistant and thicker to cope with long-term wear.
3. Highway grade and pavement structure: Different grades of highways and different pavement structures have different requirements for the thickness of the slurry seal. High-grade highways or special pavement structures may require thicker seals to ensure the stability and durability of the pavement.
Based on the above factors, the construction team will determine the most suitable slurry seal thickness after field investigation and analysis to achieve the best pavement repair and protection effect.
