Barreled bitumen is the main way to transport bitumen over long distances, such as the bitumen imported from Iran by my country, and the bitumen imported from China by countries without refineries. Bitumen is poured into the barrel in liquid form, but it becomes solid as the temperature decreases. What if the bitumen is taken out of the barrel? Based on this demand, a kind of equipment, bitumen decanter equipment, has emerged. Today we discuss the barrel entry method of bitumen decanter equipment.
The time for barreled bitumen to enter the equipment is one of the main factors that restrict the production capacity of the equipment. We will discuss several barrel entry modes on the market one by one:
1. Tray-type barrel entry. I gave it this name. I don’t know what the manufacturer calls it. See the picture below, I will explain it in detail.

This barrel entry method is to invert the barrel on a pallet. After the entire pallet is filled, the pallet is pushed into the de-barreling equipment manually or mechanically. Then heat it. This barrel entry mode requires manual or mechanical inversion of the barrel. One barrel after another is placed in the designated position. It cannot be deflected. The placement efficiency is not high. However, this platform can be placed on a weighing device to measure whether all the barrels are completely emptied. If there is a barrel that is not completely emptied, it cannot be pulled out.
Second, the oil cylinder push type, let's see the picture for explanation.

This barrel feeding method is to put the barrel upside down on a pallet. After the entire pallet is filled, the pallet is pushed into the barrel removal equipment manually or mechanically. Then heat it. This barrel feeding mode requires manual or mechanical inversion of the barrel. Put the barrels one by one in the designated position. It cannot deflect. The placement efficiency is not high. However, this platform can be placed on a weighing device to consider whether all the barrels are completely removed. If there is a barrel that is not completely removed, it cannot be pulled out.
Second, the oil cylinder push type, let's see the picture for explanation.
Solve problem 1. The operating range of the rotating crane is increased. Solve problem 2: Rely on the oil cylinder for flipping, but this requires an increase of about 10s in the barrel flipping time. The number of barrels pushed in is even smaller.
Third, flip barrel feeding

This barrel feeding method only requires placing the barreled bitumen on the platform, and then the oil cylinder is operated to put the barrel into the equipment. Flipping and barrel feeding are completed at one time. This method only takes 20 seconds to complete a process. The specific video can quickly enter the barrel and automatically run the bitumen barrel removal equipment.
There are currently three mainstream ways of feeding bitumen debarreling equipment into barrels. Which one is better? Comments are welcome. If you have any good ideas, you can also leave a message.
